In short: Órbita is a desktop app that organizes your AI agents. You get a 7-day free trial, no card required. After that, the subscription is 10 USD a month or 99 USD a year (plus your country's taxes), renews automatically, and you can cancel any time. Paddle handles payments. Your projects stay on your computer: we never see your code.
This summary doesn't replace the full text, which is what applies.
1. Who provides Órbita
Órbita is provided by Steven José López Sandí, an individual based in Costa Rica ("we", "us"). You can reach us at stevenlopezsandi3@gmail.com.
Purchases are made through Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record: Paddle sells you the subscription, charges you, issues the invoice and handles taxes. When you pay, you also accept Paddle's buyer terms.
2. What Órbita is
Órbita is a desktop application (Windows and Linux) for working with several artificial-intelligence agents on your software projects: it creates sessions, splits tasks, shows what each agent is doing and helps you review and merge their changes.
Órbita does not include any AI model. It uses the agent programs you install and set up with your own accounts (for example Claude Code, Codex, Antigravity or OpenCode). See section 7.
3. Your account
You sign in with your email and a code we send you; there are no passwords. Keep access to your email secure: whoever controls it controls your account.
You must be of legal age in your country (and in any case at least 18) and use a real email address that belongs to you.
An account is for one person. Don't share or resell it.
4. Free trial
When you create your account you get 7 days of the full Órbita, with no card.
If by the end you've barely used it (under 3 hours of real use, or on fewer than 2 different days), you get 2 more days, once.
The trial is one per person and per computer. Accounts created with disposable email addresses, or to repeat the trial, get no free trial.
When it ends, Órbita locks until you subscribe. Nothing is deleted: your projects are folders on your computer and stay there.
5. Subscription, prices and renewal
Plans: monthly (10 USD) or yearly (99 USD). Prices don't include the taxes Paddle applies for your country, which you'll see before paying.
Founders' price: the first 100 people to subscribe pay 8 USD a month or 79 USD a year for as long as their subscription stays active without interruption. If you cancel and come back later, the current price applies.
Automatic renewal: the subscription renews at the end of each period and is charged to the payment method saved with Paddle, until you cancel.
Cancelling: any time, from Órbita (Settings → General → Account → Manage subscription) or the link in Paddle's emails. You keep access until the end of the period already paid and won't be charged again.
Failed payments: if a renewal charge fails, Paddle retries it and lets you know. You keep access for 3 days after the period ends; if the payment isn't resolved, Órbita locks until you update it.
Price changes: if we change prices, we'll tell you at least 30 days in advance and the change will apply from your next renewal. The founders' price doesn't change while your subscription stays active.
While you have a trial or an active subscription, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Órbita on up to 3 computers at a time. You may not:
share your account or subscription with other people;
bypass, disable or tamper with the license check, the trial or the computer limit;
decompile, modify or redistribute Órbita except where the law expressly allows it;
use Órbita for illegal activities or to harm others.
Órbita and its brand belong to us. Anything not expressly granted here is reserved.
7. AI agents and other third-party services
AI agents (Claude Code, Codex, Antigravity, OpenCode and others) are third-party programs that you install, with your own accounts, subscriptions or keys. Their use is governed by each provider's terms, which you must follow, and their costs are yours.
When an agent works, it sends its provider what it needs (for example parts of your code). That happens between your computer and that provider; it doesn't go through our servers.
The same applies to GitHub or other services you connect (for example to collaborate): you use your own account under their terms.
We don't control those services and aren't responsible for their availability, changes or results.
8. Your code and what agents do
Your projects stay on your computer. They're yours; we don't collect them or claim any rights over them or over what agents generate for you.
AI agents can make mistakes, delete or change files or run commands depending on the autonomy level you choose. Review their changes and keep backups or version control (Git). Órbita offers tools for this, but the final decision and responsibility for your code are yours.
9. Warranties and liability
Órbita is provided "as is". We work to make it run well, but we don't guarantee it's free of errors or uninterrupted, or that the AI agents' results are correct.
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect damages (loss of data, profits or opportunities), and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid for Órbita in the 12 months before the event. Nothing here limits the rights your country's law gives you as a consumer that can't be excluded.
10. Suspension and termination
You can stop using Órbita and cancel whenever you want. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms (for example, sharing it or bypassing the license); if it isn't due to a breach on your part and you had a paid subscription, we'll refund the unused part.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll let you know by email or in the app at least 30 days in advance. If you don't agree, you can cancel before it takes effect.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica. If you're a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live and may go to its courts.
